1. Create at least 10 graphite rubbings of textures that you find on your walks. If we want to have some uniformity (but we don't have to!) the paper could be approx. 10" x 10" with the sides covered with masking tape and then removed.
2. The marigold is a plant that is familiar with transcontinental pathways. It has migrated to many countries around the world including Brazil, China, Japan and Australia. Take photographs of marigolds when you encounter them on your walks. Document as many details as you can of location and surroundings, etc.
