A series of workshops were held at Concordia University by a visiting postdoctoral scholar from the University of Barcelona, Sara Carrasco, during the Fall semester. In these workshops, students from different nationalities participated in weekly sessions and mapped their learning trajectories focusing on cartographies of affect. Ongoing conversations, storytelling, exchanging ideas and building new relationships became an important part of the students’ experiences. Those interactions created an environment which allowed students to link their stories through art making practices and by recognizing themselves as artists, researchers and teachers. As a result, individual and collective artworks were created in order to address cartographic learning trajectories. These pieces were exhibited at Concordia University during November and December 2019.
